Established in 2013, Label Megha and Jigar have undoubtedly made a mark in the fashion industry. They are known for their sense of craft, exceptional quality, highly artistic design understanding and utterly refined creations.

Keeping India’s craft and tradition alive through their creations, label Megha and Jigar has been a favourite amongst many celebrities like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Dia Mirza, Vidya Balan. Cultural roots inform the labels’ signature designs, as they strike the balance between modern and timeless with élan and ease.

“We really want to bring forward Indian fusion as a contemporary style, as I hail from parts of Rajasthan and Gujarat, and with a blend of these places, we always want to provide a fusion touch in each of our collections”, Jigar Mali.

This time around, they have come forward with their new Festive Couture 2021 collection, ‘Dori’, inspired by the heritage of Rajasthani art and Turkish architectural motifs. The collection’s sweeping contemporary silhouettes feature detailed and intricate embroidery, a playful and fresh palette, and modern reimaginings. This is everything that a modern Indian woman is looking for.

Dori is all about relaxed silhouettes and feel-good garments that will be cherished for years to come. Crafted with comfortable fabrics including chanderi, munga silk, and organza, detailed with embroidery of Dori work, dull gold sequins, beads, and nalki work, the collection has brought magnificent Rajasthani royal art back to life.

Packed with mood-boosting hues such as dusty blue, fresh coral, dusty pink, aqua blue, teal, off-white, dusty rose, yellow, wine, crushed mint, and light green, the collection is a reflection of brighter days ahead.

Styling these looks needs minimal effort, yet they promise maximum impact. From kurtas to lehengas, we assure you, these fail-safe pieces can be worn to an outdoor wedding aswell as intimate celebrations.

With everything happening in our world, our relationship with clothing has changed, and people have begun to focus on staying rooted. The label’s understated designs are more relevant now than ever. The lightweight outfits are all about acknowledging the inner you with complete panache.

The cheerful colour palette, detailed intricacies, and Rajasthani heritage experience, all make this new collection ‘Dori’ a breath of fresh air.
