Brighten your summer wardrobe with ‘Balance by Rohit Bal’

As we approach summer, it is time to restock our closets with bright, vibrant colours again and “Balance by Rohit Bal” is the label for it. Ranging from beautiful kurta sets to peplums, the line displays the kind of outfits you would need for your summer brunches and parties. The collection also features outfits for men, making the curation all the more interesting.

“People come to me only for special things—they want garments that are like handmade pieces of art. I have it in me to balance the right and left sides of my creative and business leanings” said the Kashmiri couturier in an interview, speaking about his label.

Rohit Bal has always been one for drawing inspiration from his hometown Kashmir. The designer believes in portraying a signature style across his collections. His new drop, Balance, witnesses gorgeous motifs of swans, peacocks and roses etched onto yards and yards of chanderi silk.

Starting from 4999 INR, the label features a very subtle style throughout, with statement mandarin collars and bold colours. If you are looking for eye-catching ensembles for your summer events, Balance has the perfect sunshine-y colour palette for you. Rohit Bal has picked a bright, hot pink shade and incorporated it in these three looks, making sure we have all the options we’d need!

The world of fashion keeps changing and reinventing itself constantly. There are trends that keep repeating themselves time and again. Peplums, for instance, have made their way back. 2020 has taught us how comfort is extremely important, whilst keeping the look of our outfit in check. It is going to be a must to have a few of these flattering, airy pieces in our wardrobes this summer. Keeping these trends in check, Balance features peplum tops and tunics with intricate resham embroidery and statement floral prints.

Rohit Bal had launched Balance with the idea of making fashion accessible to everyone. With his new line, the designer has managed to strike the perfect balance between prêt and couture.
