6 stunning looks from Tarun Tahiliani’s ‘Love And Relove’ Collection

The beginning of spring witnessed an extremely stunning and sustainable collection in couturier Tarun Tahiliani’s stores. ‘Love and Relove’ or as he likes to call it, The India Modern Way, is a fresh approach to good old traditional lehengas and sarees, with the collection’s idea of repurposing garments in an endeavour to dwindle excessive consumerism.

“Timeless elegance and quality have always been the hallmark of the Tarun Tahiliani studio, keeping in mind the wearer’s comfort and ensemble’s longevity. To LOVE & RELOVE each piece of a look.”, says the designer on his Instagram page.

With the ethos ‘Rewear, Restyle, Repurpose’, Tarun Tahiliani has tried to show us how one can change the look of ethnic fashion ensembles, by adding or swapping pieces with the clothes we’re most likely to have in the back of our wardrobes. From adding a jacket to your saree to swapping your lehenga-choli duo with a pullover, the collection sees it all!

The ever-trendy designer has mastered the art of incorporating playfulness with class in the best way possible. He delivers just the same in his timeless collections. Crafted in yarns of rich brocade, the sarees feature intricate resham, kundan and kasab embroidery. These outfits make up for the perfect wedding guest look.

Tarun Tahiliani has always rendered a sense of absolute luxury in his ensembles, whilst also looking after the comfort and practicality of the particular garment. Love & Relove is a perfect example of what the brand resembles in its recent collections. Through his Instagram campaign, the designer is teaching us ways to make our wedding closet look very prêt-à-porter. Take notes, ladies!
