8 perfect cocktail ensembles from Amit Aggarwal’s Euphor

Known for his avant-garde, timeless pieces, Amit Aggarwal is back with a new collection this season and we are in complete awe. Showcasing couture in its best form, ‘Euphor’ displays the designer’s signature textured patterns on beautiful lehengas and sarees.

“They (People) will favour couture that is classic, yet fused with something contemporary, and that’s the direction we have taken for our collection too.” said the designer in an interview.

Taglined ‘The blooming of a flower, the beat of your heart’, the collection is inspired by nature and its magic of constantly changing settings and our moods. Euphor thus witnesses a range of colours and styles that resemble the various elements of the cosmos. Ranging from lehengas and pre-stitched sarees to draped skirt sets and capes, the drop features amazing cocktail outfits.

Euphor explores a therapeutic balance of botanicals- the visual and mental unleashing rendered by flowers. Amit Aggarwal has followed a palette of blush pinks, pastel and forest greens and shades of white in his new drop. This combined with handcrafted surface design techniques and meticulous craftsmanship brings together a tantalizing collection. The pre-stitched sarees, for instance, are a look you do not want to miss out on.

Pre-Draped Sarees

Euphor is the most millennial yet culturally-driven collection we have seen in a while. Besides being sustainable and futuristic, the designer has taken a new approach to create the finished look that we’re all loving. He has experimented with textiles and embroidery by adding print over hand-embellished fabrics. Amit Aggarwal’s extensive knowledge of couture, along with his ideation further make the outfits look so appealing.

Euphor was launched with the idea of giving a fresh look to traditional Indian ethnic wear. The designer believes that bridal couture is often made by deriving inspiration from the sacredness of the rituals. Blending this idea with a more contemporary look, Amit Aggarwal has created ensembles that prioritise personal preferences and style above all. These lehengas from Euphor make up for the perfect bridal cocktail outfits.
