Zendaya Wove the Spider-Verse Into Her Spider-Man: Brand New Day Press Tour Looks

The countdown to Spider-Man: Brand New Day is officially on, but before the film swings into theatres on July 31, Zendaya has already delivered the blockbuster everyone’s talking about. One city after another, the actor has turned the global press tour into a runway, proving once again that when it comes to method dressing, no one does it quite like her.

With longtime collaborator Law Roach at the helm, every appearance has felt considered rather than costume-like. That’s been the duo’s signature for years. From the futuristic world of Dune to the tennis whites of Challengers, they’ve built wardrobes that don’t simply reference a character, but subtly extend the world they inhabit.

This time, the inspiration is unmistakably Spider-Man. Instead of literal superhero dressing, Zendaya and Roach have threaded the film’s visual language through every look, playing with the franchise’s signature reds, blacks and flashes of blue alongside spiderweb motifs, sweeping fringe, sculptural tailoring and an impressive mix of archival and contemporary fashion. Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen, Versace, Giorgio Armani, John Galliano, Christian Cowan, Ernesto Naranjo and Ashi Studio all make an appearance, each bringing a different interpretation of the Spider-Verse.

Let’s revisit the standout looks that turned Zendaya’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day press tour into a fashion moment of its own.

Christian Cowan

The tour began in Madrid with a dramatic entrance. Zendaya stepped out in a strapless black Christian Cowan gown trimmed with cascading fringe that swayed with every step. Inspired by the elegance of 1940s silhouettes and crafted using vintage lace and silk, the look felt timeless with a distinctly modern edge.

Ernesto Aranjo

Zendaya embraced Spider-Man’s signature crimson in Spain, wearing a sleeveless, high-neck midi dress from Ernesto Naranjo’s Fall 2026 collection, completing the monochromatic moment with matching red pumps.

Louis Vuitton

Landing in Amsterdam, Zendaya turned to Nicolas Ghesquière’s Cruise 2027 collection for Louis Vuitton. A sharply tailored black jacket with white detailing was paired with striking scarlet shorts, a reimagined take on the longer Bermuda silhouette seen on the runway.

Alexander Mcqueen

For another Amsterdam photocall, the actor embraced dark romance in Alexander McQueen Fall 2026. A sweeping black opera coat layered over an ethereal sheer slip dress, finished with delicate white floral appliqués, delivered one of the tour’s most dramatic fashion moments.

Coach

Berlin called for something playful. Zendaya channelled sporty nostalgia in a red Coach jersey-inspired top paired with a plaid midi skirt, subtly nodding to football fever while keeping the Spider-Man colour story intact.

Louis Vuitton

For her second Berlin appearance, she switched gears in a custom Louis Vuitton leather ensemble. The cropped waistcoat and low-rise maxi skirt with an elongated train balanced sharp tailoring with cinematic drama.

Versace

In Rome, Zendaya paid tribute to Italian fashion history in a Swarovski-encrusted Versace two-piece from the house’s Fall 1997 collection. Sourced from Rebe Archive, the archival look combined vivid red and blue panels, channelling Spider-Man’s iconic suit.

Giorgio Armani

Continuing the archival streak, Zendaya wore a rare Giorgio Armani spiderweb gown from Spring 1990. Elegant and understated, the intricate web motif made this one of the tour’s cleverest examples of method dressing.

Vintage Marvel x eBay

Only Zendaya and Law Roach could make a vintage Marvel T-shirt feel like high fashion. Picked up on eBay for just $35, the early-2000s graphic tee was transformed into a mini dress, proving that the strongest fashion statement isn’t always the most expensive one.

John Galliano

Zendaya stepped out in an archival John Galliano Spring 1997 gown in London. The midnight-blue dress featured celestial embellishments and an open back framed by an intricate chain spiderweb, blending fantasy with couture craftsmanship.

Vêtements’

Bringing boardroom dressing into the Spider-Verse, Zendaya wore an oversized white suit and tie from Vêtements’ Spring 2027 menswear collection. The sharp tailoring was punctuated with dangling spiderweb earrings, giving corporate dressing a playful superhero twist.

Ashi Studio

Dialling up the drama, Zendaya stepped out in Ashi Studio. Featuring intricate web-like lace, a sculptural high neckline and cascading beaded fringe that swept the floor, the look leaned into a darker, more dramatic aesthetic.
