The origin and delight of Black Friday

From fairy lights and gift-giving to shopping fairs and cosy nights in, the festive season is quickly approaching, with the shopping bonanza, Black Friday, marking the start of the holiday season of the year.
A day after Thanksgiving marks the start of the holiday season which means frenzied shoppers all around looking for gifts and holiday outfits. As a result, we have Black Friday on November 23rd, the one day where stupendous deals begin the holiday shopping. Even though Black Friday looks business-driven, the big shopping event was really started by shoppers. What originated as a one-day affair years ago, eventually spiralled into a four-day shopping event ending on Cyber Monday
The history of Black Friday started earlier than you think. As the story goes, dating back to 1961 when the term was first coined, originally it had a lot less to do with shopping. The term was actually first associated with financial crisis,  and not sales shopping. However, today, its turned out to be an elaborate event, a festival of some sort, where excitement over deals and a day of shopping and indulging in retail therapy takes place. What a bliss!
Usually, the Black Friday faithful shoppers,  line up outside stores for the chance to grab “prices slashed” products when the doors open. There’s pushing and fighting and sometimes even major injuries. This time around, it’s time for you to shop on Black Friday online and get yourself some killer pieces for your wardrobe. It’s also a great opportunity to fill your closet with great new fashion finds.
