Summer Festive Flair: Shikha & Nitika X Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop

Fresh on the block, Delhi-based designer duo Shikha & Nitika have together garnered a firm fanbase within a short span of time. Their signature style is like an appeal to the brilliantly crafted world of traditional Indian aesthetics and modern sensibilities. The dynamic duo made case for dramatically inspired sartorial for the summer wedding season when they showcased their latest line at an exclusive pop-up at Pernia’s Pop-Up Studio at Defence Colony, Delhi.

The collection creatively balanced the conventional and experimental, with use of sombre colours, fabrics and flowy silhouettes. Featuring opulent lehenga sets, concept sarees, gowns and fusion silhouettes, the collection had the perfect hint of glamour and elegance customized to complement a quintessential diva perfectly. Fine tailoring, elegant cuts and stunning drapery were the main highlights of the collection where each element was bound together in a glorious mix of traditional embroidery and enhanced by the modern vision of the designers.

From layered fantasies to tailored brilliance, Shikha & Nitika made sure the shoppers get the perfect attire as per their desires and choices. Whether it was a bride-to-be, mother of the bride, bridesmaids just another client who had an upcoming wedding to attend, everyone was welcomed by the designers and all demands were appreciated. From traditional to Indo-western, the choices displayed were endless and diverse. Bloggers Anchal Trivedi of The Gypsy Panda and Snigdha Helenite were styled by the designers in their signature numbers for a special photo shoot at the preview.

If you’re inclined towards a splash of bling and glamorous silhouettes, you can get your hands on signature creations by Shikha & Nitika on Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop online and Pernia’s Pop-Up Studio at Defence Colony in Delhi.
