Roseroom by Isha Jajodia Turned Softness into a Statement at Hyundai India Couture Week 2026

Some collections captivate instantly. Others unfold slowly, revealing a new layer of beauty with every look. Roseroom by Isha Jajodia’s Softly, Strong belonged to the latter. Returning for its fourth consecutive showcase at Hyundai India Couture Week 2026 presented by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), in association with Nexxus New York,, the label presented a collection that beautifully explored the idea that softness and strength are not opposites, but two can exist effortlessly together.

Lace has always been central to Roseroom’s identity, but this season it took on a whole new role. Chantilly lace wasn’t simply layered onto garments; it became the foundation of sculpted corsets, flowing skirts and weightless veils. The collection’s most striking detail, however, was the use of hand-moulded clay florals, delicately woven into intricate embroidery to create sculptural texture and depth. Spanning over 50 couture looks, the collection unfolded gradually, revealing its craftsmanship through layers of intricate detail with every passing silhouette.

If the craftsmanship drew you in, the colour palette kept you there. Roseroom opened in its signature palette of ivory, blush and champagne before gradually introducing emerald, teal, scarlet, gold and black. The transition felt natural rather than dramatic, adding depth without disrupting the collection’s mood. Silhouettes echoed the same balance, pairing structured corsetry with fluid drapes and airy fabrics that brought movement to every look. It was a collection where romance and precision existed side by side, neither overpowering the other.

Some collections chase a showstopper. Softly, Strong chose something far more enduring, a runway where every look mattered. As Que Sera, Sera played through the finale, Roseroom left behind a simple reminder, the most memorable couture isn’t the loudest, it’s the kind that stays with you.
