Inspiring Change: All Inclusive

On the 24h & 25th of May, Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop hosted ‘All Inclusive’- An event to promote body positivity. The event was held at ‘The Stylist’ in Mumbai.

Everyone is beautiful and individuality must be embraced! With the hope of making a change and promoting fashion inclusivity, the event was a small step to spread love and positivity.

The first day included a tête-à-tête moderated by Leila Verraswammy with Gabriella Demetriades, Antara Motiwala Marwah, Priyanka Paul, and Roshni Kumar. These inspiring women tackled questions about Body Image issues, spoke about beating the social stigma of having an ideal body, and gave us the confidence to embrace fashion and style as an extension to our identity and not be afraid to explore our own style. They spoke about perceptions of the ‘perfect’ body and how to encourage people to be open-minded to the diversity and different body types, figures and looks.

Coveted designers like Pa.ni, Kai swimwear, Payal Singhal to name a few have joined hands to make this event bigger and better. The event showcased beautiful summer-resort wear by the best designers and brands of the country. The event also has a live counter where Tipsyfly customised remarkable charm bracelets. Along with all the positivity around and amazing collections to shop from, the event also had treats for us to munch on.

All in all, this was an event had high spirits, a really positive impact on the community and great energy!

We are now hosting the ‘All-Inclusive’ event in Delhi at Pernia’s Pop-Up Studio, Dhan Mill on the 21st of June. The special panel discussion will be lead by Leila Verraswammy along with Sakshi Sindhwani, Nidhi Mohan, Dolly Singh and Nitibha Kaul.
