We’re official at the end of 2018! Our year was pretty crazy and we can’t be more grateful. This past year we set in motion a series of ventures that will unlock an exciting tomorrow for us. It truly has been a time of reflection and reinvention. Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop has been a labour of love! We’ve come a long way since our beginning, but one thing remains the same. With all heart, we attempt to bring to you the best in fashion, create inspiring content and always aspire to give customers a memorable shopping experience.
We’re gonna take you through some of our milestones and talk about all the rad. Before we walk away from 2018, these are our best moments – in no particular order.
1. Pernia’s Pop-Up Studio
2018 was the year we’ve scaled up our offline channels to 6 multi-designer brick and mortar stores across Mumbai in Delhi.
With a strong focus on emerging and advanced designers, new design concepts and private styling consultations, the stores are going above and beyond to give a unique experience to the shoppers.
2. Print Magazine Launch: The Magazine
September ‘ 18 marked the month we launched a printed version of our magazine-The Magazine! We’ve featured prominent celebrities like Sonakshi Sinha, Dia Mirza, Shruti Haasan, Kalki Kochelin and Ileana D’cruz to name a few. We aim to make The Magazine a premium luxury fashion and lifestyle bible for discerning fashionistas.
It was a pleasant and joyous ride and we can’t wait to bring you more.
3. Pernia’s Pop-Up Show
Dedicated to facilitating a gateway into the luxury fashion world, 2018 had two seasons of Pernia’s Pop-Up Show in Mumbai & Delhi.
Unlike anything that has been seen in India, the show consists of a perfect designer mix of established veterans and younger finds, fashion walks and stylists to assist shoppers, to give customers a unique experience. With this unique format, the show has been a huge success with designers and clients alike.

4. In-store Pop-Ups
While the digital age has magnified the fashion world, we think it is essential to also see it as a force for change. Customers today are eager to find unique pieces that speak to them and we were eager to not only elevate our designers but also provide our customers with a space to engage with fashion and designers on a much more personal level.
Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop began organising various in-store Pop-Up’s and workshops and have completed exactly 20 this year. From discovering cocktail ready pieces with Deme by Gabriella and Namrata Joshipura to finding our wedding outfits with Rebecca Diwan and Jewels of Jaipur, we are making shopping easier and exciting.
5. Blog
Our precious and loved Blog began July this year! The Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop blog includes style bits and bytes, fashion advice, updates on the latest style trends and a little everyday flavour. We aspire to create content that will inspire, move and celebrate our readers. Our blog is an encapsulation of our community and the creativity that lies within it.
