1. Ek Muthhi Aasman by Subodh Gupta
Taking place at Mumbai’s Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, Ek Muthhi Aasman, which translates to ‘a fistful of sky’ is a comprehensive exhibition by renowned Delhi-based artist Subodh Gupta. Spread across four floors and curated by Clare Lilley, the showcase includes large-scale installations, new commissions and key works from the artist’s journey. This is undoubtedly the best way to witness Gupta’s work who, over the span of his career, has transformed the daily life objects into works that pose larger questions regarding migration, labour, faith and aspiration.

2. The Quiet Never Lies Empty by Saanthia Bulchandani
In a world that is facing the epidemic of loneliness, possibly more than any prior generation, a solo show by Saanthia Bulchandani presents her subject’s emotional situation in a number of setups. Through these monochrome works of art, the artist invites her viewers to interpret their own narratives.

3. Terra Verde: Group Show
A group exhibition, featuring Bhaskar Rao Botcha, Ganapati Hegde and Manish Chavda will showcase diverse takes on the natural world, identifying with various aspects of flora and fauna. Without depicting human figures, the paintings encourage viewers to pause and reflect, drawing on their own perceptions and imagination of place and landscape, while highlighting the ability to blur the lines between inner and outer worlds. Through these works, the artists urge the viewers to reflect on the beauty of the natural world that faces an increasing risk of urbanisation.

4. Yeh Kab Ki Baat Hai? by Iram Rahat
This exhibition brings together 16 works by Irum Rahat who is a contemporary artist, working around memory, perception, and the construction of interior worlds. Rahat’s work is rooted in the changing form of memory that ebbs and flows through everyday life. The cinematic style of her paintings delves into the quiet intimate moments spent in daylight and nighttime, showing recurring spaces across the series.

5. Nothing Twice: Group Show
Emami Art’s exhibition, Nothing Twice brings together the works of nine young women artists, exploring themes of change, memory, and the fleeting, one-of-a-kind nature of human experience. Inspired by Nobel Laureate Wisława Szymborska’s reflections on the fleeting nature of life, the exhibit turns everyday moments into meaningful works of art. Walk through to discover paintings, textiles, drawings, videos, photographs, and ceramics that explore the poetry of daily life through materials often linked to domestic and craft practices. Nothing Twice highlights how these mundane mediums can be reimagined as contemporary forms of expression, speaking to themes of labour, care, and lived-in experiences.
